1. What type of portrait photography do you do?

Marc covers all types of portrait photography in his work but his style of shooting places more emphasis on headshots. That said, he does shoot models who have a specific wear for a specific occasion. So, in one of his sessions, he would do an entire day's shooting on swimwear and on another day, evening wear. He likes to shoot in different locations, so much of his work will take him all over the island where he seeks the perfect spot for the type of shoot that he wants to do.

2. How much do you charge for a photo shoot?

Marc does not charge models for the day's shooting, but his fully edited images can be bought as a collective of 50 images for 5000 rupees or as individual photos for 200 rupees each. For those who would like the photos to be placed on an album, this will cost extra and this will need to be discussed before a price can be determined.

3. How long will a session take?

Depending on where the location is going to be, it will determine whether the session will last for a few hours or the entire day. Usually, a normal day's shooting will begin at 10 am and will end just after sunset. However, if models are not available for the entire day then the sessions can be divided into two mornings. If the day's shooting involves travelling as well, this can prolong the sessions and therefore models will have to bear this in mind.

4. Do you shoot in a studio or outdoors?

Marc shoots in both settings, but that depends on the type of work he is doing. For headshots, and photographing small children he tends to work in a studio setting. With lingeries, it would usually be in a bedroom and if it's swimwear, then this will usually take place at a beach. However, There is no hard and fast rule when it comes to the setting, which means that the model can be at any location that fits the right criteria for the type of shooting that mark is seeking to achieve.

6. What if it rains on the day of the outdoor session?

Marc would not cancel a shoot unless absolutely necessary. Oftentimes, the lighting during a dull day is better for photography purposes, in that it creates a better ambience for the kind of work that Marc does. So, unless the weather is really bad, plan on having your photo shoot. Unless you hear from Marc then assume that the session is still on. If the session is called off, Marc will make sure that you are rescheduled for another day.
